Rocky Mountain School Custodian

Position: Rocky Mountain School Custodian Role
Join Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 as a Custodian, working part-time (30 hours/week) until July 31, 2026.

Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a clean and healthy educational environment.

As a temporary Custodian, you will support the safety and comfort of students and staff while ensuring the security of school facilities. Your work will be supervised generally by the Operations Supervisor, and you will often be responsible for tasks performed independently after hours, making your role crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and secure district facilities daily

• Check condition of buildings before and after public use

• Report hazardous conditions promptly

• Execute major cleaning during school breaks

• Perform winter maintenance as necessitated

Requirements:

• Completion of High School or equivalent

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and best practices

• WHMIS safety training is essential

• First Aid Certificate preferred

• Familiarity with the Custodian Handbook is desirable

Support cleanliness and safety in the Rocky Mountain School District as a dedicated Custodian.
