Provide care and support as a Child Youth Worker with Pacific Coast Children’s Resources. Empower young individuals to live independently while engaging within their community in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will join a vibrant multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering independence among youth living in staffed homes. With a focus on advocacy, you will empower children to exercise their rights and choices while ensuring their health and safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for children's rights and choices

• Build effective interactions with youth

• Promote community integration for supported children

• Assist in Personal Service Plans development

• Support daily living activities and medication administration

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and Child and Youth Care Diploma

• Minimum 2 years in community social services

• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed and Recovery-Oriented Care

• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certificates

• Clear criminal record for vulnerable populations
