Kimberley Casual School Bus Driver

Become a Casual Bus Driver with Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 in Kimberley.

Your role will ensure the safe transport of students on prescribed routes and special events.

As a Bus Driver, you will be tasked with the secure operation of school buses, supporting students, and maintaining safety protocols. You will also engage with students and manage responses during transit while keeping rigorous records of your duties. Strong communication and the ability to act independently are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive school buses following scheduled routes

• Perform thorough vehicle safety checks

• Ensure bus cleanliness to meet school district standards

• Manage student behavior while on the bus

• Provide education on bus safety to students

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 5 years of safe driving experience with acceptable record

• Class 2 Driver's license and compliance with BC laws

• Pass medical examinations as required by the district

• First Aid training is a plus
