Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented construction administrator / estimator to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters located in Inverness, Florida. This role is responsible for managing key projects throughout the Central Florida area. The individual in this position will oversee the coordination and completion of multiple Division 3 and 4 construction projects, focusing on concrete and masonry work. Responsibilities include ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within the defined scope.
The Construction Administrator / Estimator will set deadlines, monitor progress, and summarize project developments to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage negotiations and procurement of materials for construction projects.
- Coordinate internal resources, collaborating with the management team and third-party vendors to execute projects efficiently.
- Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and within the established scope.
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives to meet client and organizational goals.
- Guarantee resource availability and proper allocation, including materials and equipment, for each project.
- Contribute to the development of detailed project plans used to monitor and track progress.
- Oversee and manage changes to project scope and schedules as necessary.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with third-party vendors and partners.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all assigned projects.
- Utilize and further develop leadership skills throughout project execution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and organizational needs.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document and analyze project requirements.
- Provide assistance and support to field management teams as needed.
- Assist in the development and execution of change orders related to project adjustments.
- Minimum of five years' experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Knowledge and experience in Division 3 and 4.
- Proficiency in managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, as well as the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and Adobe applications.
