We are seeking a RN Registered Nurse Neuro PCU Telemetry for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive care following established nursing models. You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and help ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and document care administration in the medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take action if there is an unintended response.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring understanding of medical terminology.

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or have an active compact license with Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Current NIHSS required (6 months grace period from hire date).
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and follow instructions; computer skills.
