Nurse Educator – HCA Healthcare

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Educator to enhance professional practice and provide quality patient care through evidence‑based educational programs. The role promotes professional competency for nursing, inter‑professional, and non‑licensed clinical staff at the assigned facility.

• Develop, coordinate, and manage onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel.
• Provide orientation/onboarding programs to promote employee retention.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs based on evaluation results.
• Design and identify educational activities to address practice gaps for identified target audiences.
• Develop activities to achieve specific outcomes related to identified deficits or opportunities for improvement in knowledge, skill, and practice.
• Promote and integrate evidence‑based practice to continuously improve practice and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify and develop strategies for continuous learning and skill enhancement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia, or leadership – Preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care hospital – Preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of practice – Required.
• BLS certification – Required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% – Required.
