Position: Graduate Accounts Trainee (ICAS or ACCA September 2026

About the Program

Our training contract takes three years to complete with full support and access to top‑tier tuition centres. You will study towards the ICAS or ACCA qualification, with potential exemptions for AAT Level 4 qualified candidates.

Role and Development

You’ll work in a client‑facing, fast‑paced role that includes advisory elements and involves high‑profile clients. The work is varied, ranging from year‑end compliance to ad‑hoc advisory projects.

  • Preparing management accounts, reconciling key account balances and tailoring presentations.
  • Assisting and advising on accounting system issues and software migration.
  • Agreeing and executing payment runs via bank platforms.
  • Preparing VAT and Intrastat returns.
  • Preparing year‑end financial statements.
  • Carrying out ad‑hoc tasks such as cash flow analysis, budgeting and information for third parties.
  • Maintaining client relationships and taking ownership of projects.
  • Processing work on Xero and other accounting software.
What You’ll Need
  • 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected or obtained) in any discipline.
  • At least 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies and AS Levels.
  • Minimum 6 (or

    B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent). AAT qualification is a plus.
