We’re recruiting a Front‑of‑House Customer Services Assistant for a busy client. This is an in‑person role with most enquiries handled face‑to‑face. You’ll be on your feet most of the day, welcoming visitors, supporting staff, and carrying out a variety of practical tasks both inside and outside the building.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main front‑of‑house point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors
  • Deliver excellent face‑to‑face customer service in a busy environment
  • Manage visitor access, security and health & safety procedures
  • Support day‑to‑day operation of the building and facilities
  • Carry out practical, hands‑on tasks around the site, including time outdoors
  • Assist with basic vehicle and facilities checks (training provided)
  • Make routine arrangements such as meeting rooms and hospitality bookings
  • Provide general administrative support as part of the wider workplace services team
  • Prioritise tasks and respond to issues as they arise throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role (retail, hospitality, front‑of‑house or visitor services)
  • Confidence when dealing with people face‑to‑face and providing a welcoming, professional service
  • Willingness to work on your feet and carry out hands‑on, practical tasks
  • A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to get involved where needed
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems
  • Disclosure Scotland (or an equivalent recent check) will be conducted if not already completed
  • Clean driving licence
