Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for the school community, welcoming visitors, parents and pupils.
- Provide high‑quality administrative service, focusing on financial processes and compliance.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team and coordinate the whole‑school calendar.
- Produce the school newsletter and keep the website up‑to‑date, compliant and engaging.
- Perform other administrative duties as reasonably required by the School Business Manager to support the needs of the school.
- Highly organised, professional and welcoming.
- Motivated, adaptable and calm under pressure, with a commitment to delivering excellent service to all stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player who shares the school’s values.
- Dedicated to maintaining safeguarding, accuracy and professionalism standards.
This position falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification.
