This role will initially be based in Bradford but were moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in spring 2026, so youll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working. Work type :
Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday Friday between the working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the Asset Management team in River Health at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers.

The River Health Team sits within Asset Management and plays a vital role in protecting and improving Yorkshires environment while supporting our 10-year strategy, A Thriving Yorkshire, Right for Customers, Right for the Environment. As Yorkshire Water continues to respond to new environmental legislation, significant investment programmes, and increasing customer and regulatory expectations, this is an exciting time to be part of a team shaping the future of water quality across the region.

The team is responsible for delivering the Continuous Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM) programme, a key requirement arising from changes to Section 82 of the Environment Act 2021. With river health under greater scrutiny than ever, the programme aims to improve environmental performance while building trust and confidence with customers, regulators, and stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of CWQM by working closely with project teams, operational colleagues, and external stakeholders.

The role will help drive operational efficiency through well-managed meetings, standardised processes, clear schedules, and robust action tracking. It will also support project governance by ensuring risks and issues are identified early, mitigated proactively, and escalated where necessary. In addition, the Project Coordinator will contribute to effective financial management through cost tracking, forecasting, and invoice processing, while producing accurate reports to support informed decision-making.

Through consistent communication, strong organisation, and governance compliance, the role will help maintain stakeholder confidence and ensure the successful delivery of this important environmental programme. Ultimately, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to improving river health, protecting the environment, and delivering essential services for the 5.4 million people who rely on Yorkshire Water every day.
