Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Deeside, North Wales. HJH Commercial Consultants are an award-winning consultancy that offers a wide range of Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management services across the UK. We specialise in bulk earthworks, drainage, civil engineering, utilities, fibre, streetscapes and renewable energy, working with contractors and sub-contractors of all sizes.
Qualifications & Experience- Minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience within a civil engineering / utility environment. We also consider an experienced commercial assistant looking to advance their career.
- Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
- BSc Quantity Surveying Degree / HNC desirable but not essential.
- Driving licence and ability to travel across the North West.
- Site measures
- Prepare cost plans and tender documents
- Manage subcontractor accounts and payments
- Valuations
- Submit payment claims
- Attend client meetings
- Provide commercial expertise and guidance
- Receive support and mentoring from a Senior QS
