The RoleThe Progressions Coordinator works in partnership with their delivery partner (Youth & Community Coach) in delivering and administering Street League’s core programmes in their specific local areas. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Street League’s launch in North Scotland working within the Highlands Inner Moray Firth region. The Progressions Coordinator works in partnership with their delivery partner to deliver and administer Street League’s core programmes, supporting young people to move into employment, education, or training.
As part of the launch team, you will play a key role in establishing Street League’s presence in the Highlands — developing strong relationships with local partners, employers, and referral agencies to ensure effective programme delivery and sustained outcomes for young people. You will help shape the success of this new area by providing high-quality support and progression pathways that transform the lives of young people through the power of Sport and Education.
Key Responsibilities- Secure employment, education and training opportunities for Street League participants and support them to progress, locally securing and sharing job/training opportunities for young people.
- Deliver Street League’s Academy: group employability and personal development workshops and qualifications.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with referral agencies and develop further partnerships with employers or colleges to secure suitable opportunities for participants.
- Monitor and report on programme outcomes.
Work pattern: 36.25 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
Location:
Highlands – Inner Moray Firth (with office base in Inverness).
Contract:
Fixed-Term until March 2027.
