Pay and Hours
This is a term time position, so the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year. Please note that the full‑time equivalent for this position is 37 hours; roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classified as part‑time.

Arbory Primary School
, you’ll help create a safe and well‑managed lunchtime for pupils. You’ll encourage good manners in the dining hall, support safe play outdoors and help ensure children feel confident, included and ready to return to learning. Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll be part of a supportive team focused on pupils’ wellbeing and development.
- Assist in running the lunchroom and ensuring a safe, orderly environment.
- Encourage good manners and respectful behaviour among pupils.
- Support safe play outside the dining area.
- Help children feel confident, included and ready to return to learning.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to promote pupils’ wellbeing and development.
No formal qualifications are required – just a willingness to get involved and make a meaningful contribution to the school community.

This role requires an enhanced with barring police check; the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
