We're working with a well-established small to medium-sized civil engineering contractor based in Inverness, who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their growing workload across the Highlands. With a strong reputation for delivering quality civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Highlands, this business offers long-term stability, variety of work, and a genuinely supportive working environment.
The RoleYou'll be involved in the commercial management of civil engineering projects from start to finish, including:
- Cost control and financial reporting
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Sub-contractor procurement and payments
- Working closely with site and project teams
- Supporting the commercial success of live projects
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, collaborative environment
Good commercial awareness and communication skills
