The Opportunity

A leading engineering contractor is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Manager to play a pivotal role on a nationally significant renewable energy development in Scotland.

M&E Manager, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Building Services Manager, Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Commissioning Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Infrastructure Engineering Lead

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • Take ownership of all mechanical and electrical activities across the full project lifecycle, from design through to completion
  • Coordinate with civil, tunnelling, and geotechnical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering works
  • Manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivery meets programme, cost, and quality expectations
  • Oversee installation and commissioning phases, ensuring systems are delivered safely and in line with requirements
  • Monitor performance against programme milestones and implement corrective actions to manage risks and delays
You will have the following qualifications and experience
  • Demonstrable experience leading M&E delivery on major infrastructure or construction projects
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems within large-scale environments
  • Background working on complex, multi-discipline projects with high safety and compliance standards
  • Knowledge of UK regulations and engineering standards relevant to construction and energy sectors
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
