You'll step into a deeply technical environment spanning distributed systems, evolving microservices and large-scale platform change.

A leadership role where you shape both people and platform.

You’ll lead multiple engineering squads responsible for core product domains.

• Manage and mentor engineers across seniority levels
• Drive planning, delivery and technical direction
• Partner closely with product and senior technical leadership
• Improve engineering processes, quality and developer velocity
• Stay technically credible through design input, PR reviews and guidance
• Help define future technology and architecture direction

You’ll own outcomes, team health and technical standards.

• Modernising legacy services into scalable cloud platforms
• Microservices powering high-scale real-time systems
• Performance, scalability and reliability improvements
  
  Platform evolution and roadmap planning
• Hiring and growing strong engineering teams

• Experience leading engineering teams building high-scale backend products
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern architecture
• Previous people leadership across multiple squads
• Comfortable operating through ambiguity and change
• Strong communicator aligning engineering and product
• Cloud platform experience (AWS)

• Exposure to platform modernisation or large technical transformation
• Background in SaaS or complex product environments
