Senior Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar / BESS EPC / Turnkey Project Solutions business UK (remote with site travel)

Circular Resourcing are working with a growing EPC company delivering utility-scale solar projects across the UK.

• We are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead new solar / BESS projects from development through to energisation.
• The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of utility scale renewables projects across the entire lifecycle — from initial site identification, planning, and permitting through to construction management and final commissioning.
• This is a leadership role right at the heart of the businesses long term growth strategy in the UK.
• The role can be based from anywhere in the UK but you will be expected to spend 2-3 days on site across a number of projects in the South of England.

• End-to-end project management of utility-scale projects
• Taking the lead on planning applications, grid connection, DNO coordination and grid connections.
• Managing various EPC contracts, procurement, and subcontractor performance
• Acting as Principal Contractor and/or Principal Designer under CDM 2015
• Budget control, programme management, and risk mitigation
• Stakeholder management — developers, investors, local authorities, and DNOs
• Ensuring HSE compliance across all project phases
• Reporting progress to senior leadership and investors

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
• Demonstrable project management experience in UK utility-scale solar EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of UK planning system, grid connection process, and CDM 2015
• SMSTS, NEBOSH or equivalent H&S certification (preferred)
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, and contract management skills
