Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + £5,750 Car Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

OverviewFirst Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a Mechanical and Electrical Manager on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Inverness depot.
Duties and Responsibilities- Review competencies of all personnel within the department to ensure suitable training, qualifications & behaviours.
- Accountable for monitoring productivity on all works.
- Accountable for creation and management of a high‑performing workforce within the discipline.
- Accountable for timely delivery of key HR activities: annual salary and bonus reviews, appraisals, talent and succession planning, etc.
- Support creation and design of development programmes and employee upskilling activities.
- Ensure mandatory e‑learning modules and policy updates are completed by own and direct reports.
- Manage recruitment requirements.
- Use the HR system to manage employee records and absences.
- Have an in‑depth understanding of all information security projects, policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure direct reports receive governance training on all information security policies and procedures.
- Communicate any updates in information security policies and procedures to direct reports.
- Understand procedure for effective reporting and management of security incidents and breaches.
- Day‑to‑day line management of workforce within the project.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems within large‑scale environments.
- Background working on complex, multi‑discipline projects with high safety and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and engineering standards relevant to construction and energy sectors.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
