We'relooking for motivated and observant individuals to join our Environmental Clerk of Work team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop or further their career in environmental consultancy, working on a diverse range of housing, renewableenergyand infrastructure projects across Scotland.
The Role:- Deliver environmental compliance monitoring,auditing and advisory support across a range of construction projects.
- Monitor compliance with planning conditions, environmentallegislationand regulatory requirements.
- Prepare environmental compliance reports, Surface Water Management Plans (SWMPs) and Pollution Prevention Plans (PPPs).
- Identifyenvironmental risks and advise on practical mitigation measures.
- Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed budgets and programmes.
- Build andmaintaineffective relationships with clients, contractors,regulator sand project partners.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental solutions.
- Assist with technical reporting and project documentation.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuousimprovementand the development of environmental best practice within the team.
- A degree in Environmental Management ora related environmental discipline.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strongorganisationalskills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management andrecord-keepingskills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- MSc or further qualification in a relevant environmental discipline.
- Experience supporting environmental complianceonconstruction projects.
- Experience working with contractors andprovidingsite-based environmental advice.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation,policyand regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of CAR,SuDS, EIA, floodriskand pollution prevention guidance.
- Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) experience.
- Current CSCS card.
- Membership of the Association of Environmental Clerks of Works (AECoW).
