This is a permanent position operating primarily Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. Working hours may vary to meet operational requirements and can include weekend work or additional hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Support line and base aircraft maintenance activities at the Inverness base and other approved locations
Complete aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice and company authorisations
Certify completed maintenance work within the scope of applicable licences and authorisations
Identify, document and record aircraft defects following accurate debriefs with operational crew members
Carry out maintenance activities safely, efficiently and in compliance with company policies, processes and procedures
Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and support personnel when required
Ensure the correct use, care and maintenance of tooling and support equipment
Support aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, cleaning and wider operational activities as required
Job Requirements:
Aircraft maintenance experience within an aerospace MRO, airline or similar aviation environment
Relevant aircraft maintenance licence and authorisations appropriate to the role
Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, approved data and aviation regulations
Ability to identify, record and resolve aircraft defects accurately
Experience of certifying completed maintenance work within an authorised scope
Ability to supervise and support engineering personnel when required
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, cleanliness and workmanship
Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends and occasional assignments at other bases
