The NHS Highland Breast Service is an integrated Screening and Symptomatic Breast Service based at Raigmore Hospital. We are seeking our first Consultant Radiographer in Breast. The successful candidate will be a central part of a specialist breast team, providing expert care for patients with, or at risk of, breast disease.

• Assess and diagnose patients, managing own caseload
• Provide and facilitate expert breast imaging care
• Work independently and collaboratively with surgeons, radiologists and advanced practitioners
• Maintain a high level of autonomy while supporting continuous professional development

• HCPC registered radiographer
• Postgraduate Masters level qualification in breast imaging covering:
  • Mammography
  • Mammographic film interpretation
  • Breast ultrasound
  • Interventional breast procedures
• Minimum 3 years of advanced practice in multiple areas of breast imaging
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make difficult decisions
