Catering Assistant

We are currently seeking Catering Assistants to work in our busy hospital kitchen providing high-quality food and beverage services to patients, staff and visitors.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals for patients, staff and visitors
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen
• Serve hot and cold beverages, snacks, and meals to hospital staff and visitors
• Ensure a clean and welcoming environment in all Catering areas
• Work alongside a friendly and professional team to provide excellent customer service

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential
• A passion for food and customer service
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible and reliable approach to work

• Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
