Job Summary
There is an opening for a Driver in the NHS Highland Transport Department located on Stadium Road, Inverness.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver laundry, mail, medical equipment, specimens, and supplies to hospitals, GP practices, health centres, and care homes across the NHS Highland region.
- Experienced drivers familiar with transport regulations, Health & Safety, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Road Risk, and Moving and Handling Regulations.
- Organised, highly motivated, strong interpersonal and communication skills, friendly and helpful attitude, and knowledge of local and Highland areas.
- Valid Driving Licence covering category B, and ideally C1.
- Preferably hold an up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a valid tachograph digicard.
- Capable of driving vehicles up to 7.5-tonne Large Goods Vehicles.
