ADVANCED PRACTITONER IMAGE INTERPRETATION (BREAST)

The North of Scotland Breast Centre seeks a highly motivated, caring Advanced Practitioner Mammographer in Image Interpretation to join the team providing the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service to a large area of the North of Scotland and the Western Isles.

We welcome interest from ambitious and enthusiastic Image Interpretation Advance Practice Mammographers, with technical and interpersonal skills which will enhance our team and who can work with a high level of autonomy. You will have a proven track record for CPD, with a passion for imaging and developing staff, knowledge of industry advancements and the ability to contribute to continuous development of service.

Applicants should hold either the Certificate of Competence in Mammography or PG Cert in Mammography as well as hold a qualification in Breast Image Interpretation. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified Advanced Practitioner Mammographer in Image Interpretation.

The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively throughout the area, working on the mobile unit, as well as working in the integrated Highland Breast Centre.

A full driving licence is essential and access to a car for mobile work is desirable.
