ASSISTANT PRACTITIONER Band 4

1 x 1.0 WTE / 36 hours, full time, permanent (Part-time at a minimum of 22.5 hours over 3 days per week would be considered)

Salary Scale £31,537 - £34,303 for WTE

The North of Scotland Breast Unit seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated caring member of staff to join the team, providing the Breast Screening and a Symptomatic Service to a large area of the North of Scotland and the Western Isles.

The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively throughout the area on a regular basis, working on the mobile screening unit, as well as working in the integrated Highland Breast Centre, at Raigmore Hospital.

Applicants should hold a Higher Education Certificate (HECert) in Mammography, or a minimum of 2 passes at Higher grade or equivalent, with the expectation that they will be required to undertake a Certificate HE in Mammography through Queen Margaret University Edinburgh as part of their role.

A full driving licence is essential and access to a car for mobile work is desirable.
