This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse in Inverness
The postholder will work within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in Inverness and also the wider Drug and Alcohol Service in Highland.

You will work within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service but have close links with colleagues within the Community Mental Health Teams and the wider multidisciplinary team. You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills-including the ability to offer interventions, harm reduction advice and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population.

You will be required to carry out assessments, develop and implement treatment plan. You will be expected to offer supervision and support to junior staff within the team. Working with partner agencies in social work, criminal justice etc is a regular part of this post.
You should possess good interpersonal skills as this post requires you to work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary along with a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.
