At NHS Highland we have a full-time vacancy within our Estates Department for an Estates Officer to coverNHSH at Raigmore Hospital.
The successful candidateenthusiastic and motivated individualable to react and think quickly on how to deal with breakdowns within the NHSH Estate, manage small scale projects and efficiently arrange for contractors or in house trades teams to carry out maintenance work safely.
The post is primarily based at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, there may be times where the post holder may be required to travel to sites all over NHSH region.
The position will requireeffective management and prioritisation to contribute to the provision of excellent patient care.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience of managing a team and Contractors.
- A current UK driving licence is essential.
- Applicants must have a recognised qualifications as detailed in the job description.
- Experience with in a health care environment would be advantageous.
- A great team player who is self-motivated.
- A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary and willing toparticipatein the 1:6 on-call rota.
