, you'll step into all kinds of situations, from supporting someone settling in for the first time to encouraging daily routines or celebrating personal goals. You'll bring calm, confidence and care to people who need it most, right when they need it.
This role provides cover across all three Adult Care Services in Inverness, Nevis House, Cale House and Beechwood House, giving you the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and support a range of individuals. We are recruiting multiple candidates for these positions.
What sort of things will I do?- Offer emotional support and practical help during challenging times
- Help with personal care, medication and day-to-day routines
- Encourage positive choices, structure and independence
- Pitch in with cleaning, meal prep or appointments when needed
- Support recovery and life skills in a safe, stable environment
- Someone who's calm, reliable and ready to step into new settings
- A good communicator who knows when to listen
- Ideally, someone with experience in support work, but we'll support the right person to learn and grow
- You'll also need (or be working towards) an SVQ Level 2 in Social Care

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
