We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Maternity Nurse to join our growing team and support maternity services in Inverness.
Key Responsibilities:As a Maternity Nurse with Plan B Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to mothers and newborn babies during the postnatal period. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate postnatal nursing care.
- Monitor and assess the physical and emotional wellbeing of mothers and newborns.
- Support and educate families on newborn care, feeding, and postnatal recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Recognise and elevate any concerns regarding maternal or neonatal health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with midwives, doctors, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Deliver person-centred care while promoting dignity, respect, and family involvement.
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Registered Nurse with postnatal and/or maternity experience.
- Previous experience working within a postnatal care environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- A professional, compassionate, and patient-centred approach.
- Reliability and availability for regular shifts across Scotland.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care.
