Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll build meaningful relationships and play an important role in helping someone live the life they choose.

We are looking for two caring, fun loving Support Practitioners to support a young lady in their own home and to ensure they maintain independence and their active social life in the local area of Kirkhill.

This is a ONE to ONE support package, requiring two Support Practitioners to share the shifts across 21hrs a week, over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

This is a highly rewarding role which can also be challenging at times, so it is important that applicants are confident in following structured routines, setting clear and positive professional boundaries and remaining calm, patient and consistent.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting an individual with complex needs to live independently in their own home and community
• Providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice and wellbeing
• Assisting with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living activities
• Building positive, trusting relationships and providing emotional support
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests and community activities
• Following individual support plans and promoting positive outcomes
• Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe, supportive environment
• Supporting the individual's physical, emotional and social wellbeing
• Providing high-quality support in line with Highland Home Carers' values and standards
