Endoscopy Co-ordinator

The Endoscopy department are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for dynamic and innovative individuals to join our team as Admin Team Manager.

The postholder will have delegated responsibility for the day-to-day administrative support required across Endoscopy in Highland – managing, leading and motivating the booking team in supporting clinical activity.

The successful candidate will be organised, dependable and have the necessary skills to support both the admin team, and the clinical teams, in managing patient pathways across Endoscopy sites in NHS Highland.

Responsibilities will include supporting the department in analysing demand and capacity, waiting time delivery and supporting all aspects of administrative management within a strong framework of financial governance.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a real commitment to working across all relevant aspects of the service, showing an ability to enthuse, motivate and give commitment to meeting exacting deadlines. Also key is the ability to demonstrate proficiency in various software systems including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Knowledge of NHS Scotland Waiting Time is essential along with evidence of excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. A demonstrable commitment to improving the services we provide to patients is essential.

It would be advantageous to have previous leadership and management experience along with a working knowledge of NHS clinical systems.
