We are seeking an experienced individual to support one of Matrixx Solutions' key clients by analysing Salesforce fallout, exception data and related operational datasets to identify process failures, data quality issues, system discrepancies and business impacts.

The role will provide hands‑on data analysis, reconciliation, reporting and insight to support investigation, decision‑making, issue resolution and continuous improvement. The Analyst will work closely with business subject‑matter experts, operational teams and project stakeholders to translate data findings into clear, practical and actionable recommendations.

This is a full‑time remote role for a Business Data Analyst with a fixed term of 12 months, with the option to extend beyond that. The successful candidate will be working with people from around the globe, and working hours will be UK working hours.

• Analyse Salesforce fallout, exception and error data to identify process failures, data quality issues, root causes and associated business impacts.
• Extract, manipulate, cleanse and validate large datasets from Salesforce and other business systems to support investigation, assurance and decision‑making activities.
• Perform detailed data analysis using advanced Excel functionality, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, complex formulas and structured data comparison techniques.
• Carry out data reconciliation and spreadsheet comparison activities to identify discrepancies between source systems, target systems and reporting outputs.
• Produce clear and accurate management information, dashboards and ad hoc reports, including the use of Power BI where required.
• Support User Acceptance Testing activities by understanding UAT phases, preparing or analysing test data, reviewing test outputs and helping to identify defects, exceptions and data‑related issues.
• Work collaboratively with business SMEs and stakeholders to interpret findings, validate root causes and translate analysis into practical, actionable recommendations.
• Where appropriate, support deeper analysis through awareness or use of SQL queries and Python. Experience in these areas would be advantageous.

• Degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience in data analysis, reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience working with Salesforce data, including fallout, exception and error reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, formulas, conditional formatting and data comparison techniques.
• Ability to extract, manipulate, cleanse and validate large datasets from multiple systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, trends, gaps and anomalies in data.
• Experience producing management information, dashboards and ad hoc reports.
• Good understanding of data quality issues and their potential business impacts.
• Ability to work with business subject‑matter experts and stakeholders to understand requirements, validate findings and agree practical recommendations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience using Power BI to produce dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Awareness or practical experience of SQL queries.
• Awareness or practical experience of Python for data analysis or automation.
• Understanding of User Acceptance Testing phases, activities and deliverables.
• Experience supporting business change, system remediation, data migration, operational improvement or assurance activity.
