Summary:
The Oracle Support Analyst will work as part of a team to provide functional and technical support for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules. The support analyst role is responsible for incident management, user support, system administration, configuration maintenance, environment management, quarterly patch testing, reporting and analytics, and liaison with Oracle Support. The post supports users across Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and Business Planning functions and contributes to the continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion services.
The role also provides shared-service support to a partner public sector organisation using the shared Oracle Fusion platform. The post holder will primarily support Oracle Fusion ERP modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Receipt Accounting, Budgetary Control, Expenses, Tax, and Reporting & Analytics.
Role Requirements:
- Incident Management and User Support
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve Fusion system issues using excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Manage incident resolution and service requests in accordance with agreed service standards.
- Support business users with troubleshooting, advice, and guidance on system functionality.
- Escalate product issues to Oracle Support and manage Service Requests.
- Systems Administration and Configuration
- Maintain Chart of Accounts structures, hierarchies, and associated reference data.
- Maintain cross-validation rules and other financial controls.
- Manage Fusion configuration changes and change requests.
- Manage user access requests, role provisioning, and data access controls.
- Monitor scheduled processes and investigate process failures.
- Environment Management
- Coordinate Oracle Fusion non-production environment refreshes with Oracle.
- Communicate refresh schedules and planned outages to stakeholders.
- Complete post-refresh validation and configuration activities.
- Quarterly Update and Patch Management
- Review Oracle quarterly release documentation to assess impacts and opportunities.
- Communicate relevant enhancements and changes to business stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance and regression testing.
- Monitor critical business processes following deployment of quarterly updates.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher reports and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) reports and dashboards.
- Develop knowledge of Oracle data structures and use SQL to support reporting and analysis activities.
- Personal Development and Corporate Compliance
- Develop personal and professional competencies through internal training (provided through Oracle learning and other platforms) and professional development conversations.
- Ensure personal compliance with standards relating to the use of corporate systems and resources.
- Technical knowledge/experience
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent practical experience) in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Data Analytics, or a related subject.
- Experience supporting Finance and Procurement business processes within an enterprise business system, preferably Oracle Fusion.
- Experience of system administration, configuration, and maintenance of ERP or business systems.

- Experience writing or maintaining SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, or data analysis.
- Experience of Oracle Fusion technologies such as Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio) and/or Redwood user interface components.
