Location: Gaelic Primary School, Inverness

Salary: £17,485 per annum, £13.45 per hour

Contract: Permanent, Part-time – 25 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 16:00–21:00

This role is part of the Morrisons Facilities Services business, now part of Apleona UK. You will deliver excellent cleaning standards in a school environment, supporting the school's daily operations and maintaining safety and hygiene.

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the school to a high standard
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Carry out deep cleaning tasks during school holidays or scheduled closures
• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively (e.g., floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners)
• Replenish cleaning supplies, soap dispensers, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with site procedures and environmental standards
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the supervisor promptly

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to follow instructions accurately

• Previous cleaning experience
