Job Overview

We are hiring Meter Readers in your postcode now; no prior experience required. Part‑time, flexible schedule close to home.

• Collect data from gas, electricity, and water meters at commercial and residential properties.
• Update meter reads accurately on a handheld device throughout the day.
• Enter details for each location and provide excellent customer service.
• Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment.
• Perform charge‑point surveys.

• Manual UK driving licence for at least 1 year, maximum 6 points, no disqualifying offences (driving licence not required in some London areas).
• Physically fit: able to bend, lift, kneel, climb stairs, crouch, and walk 4–5 miles daily.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Clear DBS check, no unspent criminal convictions.
• Credit report check with no county court judgments, IVA or debt relief orders in the last six years.
• Five years of employment history.
• Previous customer‑service experience preferred but not essential.

• Basic pay £13.23 – £13.97 per hour (weekly payment).
• 20 hours per week with flexible start and finish times (Mon‑Fri).
• Bonus scheme up to £1,000 monthly.
• Overtime rates £16 – £25 at manager's discretion.
