Housekeeping Assistant

This housekeeping post sits within Cross Reach's Cameron House service in Inverness, a residential home for the people the organisation supports. The work centres on cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard, following infection prevention procedures, and helping with laundry and stock. It is part-time at 13 hours a week, and full training is given, so prior cleaning experience is welcome but not needed.

Applicants need PVG membership and must respect all aspects of Christian worship.

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures
• Support laundry duties where required
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock requirements
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment
• Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the service

• Adherence to the SSSC Code of Practice
