An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Team Leader within NHS Highland. You will be responsible for the management and technical support of a payroll team of six Payroll Officers, ensuring the continued processing of weekly and monthly payrolls and that NHS Terms and Conditions along with statutory, regulatory, and legislative requirements are met.
Responsibilities- Lead and support a team of six payroll officers in processing payroll.
- Ensure compliance with NHS Terms and Conditions and all statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance on payroll matters.
- Handle queries from internal stakeholders and external bodies on all aspects of pay.
- Professional payroll qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Strong customer‑service ethic and confidence in dealing with internal and external queries.
