Location:
Inverness Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 basic + on-call & overtime (OTE up to ~£46,700) Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, days (8:00am–4:30pm)
The Role An established industrial manufacturing site in Inverness is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support site operations across a modern, high-capacity production facility. This is a days-based role offering strong earning potential through a structured on-call rota and overtime. You'll be part of a skilled engineering team, responsible for maintaining plant reliability, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns Fault-find and repair mechanical systems and production equipment Work on bearings, belts, chains, drives, and rotating machinery Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
