Inverness Hourly Pay Rate: £23.50 PAYE / £29.98 Umbrella (+ £1.28 P/H Umbrella retainer)

Shifts:

Minimum of 50 hours a week. Shift Pattern:
Mon - Fri 07:00 - 17:00

Duration: 4 Months Minimum (potential for extension)

Position Summary:

Working at a live Rail Depots we require Mechanical Modifications Technicians who will be engaged for the implementation of a sanding box modification on the Class Duties could include the following:
Carrying out modifications primarily on the underframes of the vehicles and interior aspects Renewal of fasteners (washers, nuts and bolts) Tightening of Threaded fasteners (torque loading) Carrying out inspections and checks to ensure work completed to correct standard. Carrying out work recording via both paperwork and computer Protection of components

Personal Profile Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Mechanical discipline or similar.

Experience of Mechanical works on Vehicles such as Trains, Aircraft, Marine Vessels, plant, agricultural machinery, Cars, Trucks or Busses. Industries Considered:
