Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. Key Activities
  • Assist with the preparation of stock pre auction.
  • Support the identification of spraying and refinishing requirements.
  • Carry out surface preparation work, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Assist with the application of undercoats and topcoats under supervision.
  • Help with the stripping and reassembly of machinery and equipment where required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while following company quality and safety procedures.
  • Learn and develop practical skills in vehicle and machinery refinishing.
The Person

This role is ideal for a student or individual looking to gain hands‑on experience in spray painting and vehicle refinishing. You should be enthusiastic, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work outdoors year‑round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.

  • Interest in vehicle, machinery, or industrial painting and refinishing.
  • Studying or recently completed a qualification in vehicle body repair, spray painting, or a related subject.
  • Willingness to learn spray painting techniques and workshop procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and English skills.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during busy auction periods when required (including weekends).
  • Previous experience in spray painting, vehicle preparation, or a workshop environment is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of paint preparation, masking, or sanding techniques.
  • Forklift operator's certificate (desirable but not essential).
