We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Machine Technician to join our production team. In this role, you’ll be critical to ensuring our machinery operates efficiently, safely, and consistently helping deliver high‑quality products with minimal downtime.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with technical ability, strong attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently in line with SOPs
• Completing pre‑start checks and accurate machine setups
• Running equipment to meet production targets and quality standards
• Keeping your area clean, safe, and audit‑ready

• Supporting operatives on the line to maintain workflow and performance
• Communicating clearly and allocating tasks where required
• Leading by example in safety, hygiene, and productivity
• Coaching team members to build skills and confidence

• Continuously monitoring machine performance and product quality
• Completing routine checks (weights, seals, coding, metal detection)
• Making real‑time adjustments to optimise output and reduce waste

• Carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning and lubrication
• Diagnosing and resolving minor mechanical issues
• Escalating complex faults quickly and supporting repairs

• Ensuring all products meet company and customer standards
• Maintaining accurate records for traceability and audits
• Following hygiene, GMP, and food safety requirements

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
• Supporting lean initiatives and process improvements
• Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures

• Experience in food production or manufacturing (preferred)
• Basic mechanical or engineering knowledge
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standards
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator and reliable team player
• Proactive, hands‑on approach
• Basic IT skills for data entry and reporting
