Pertemps are delighted to be supporting our esteemed client in the recruitment of a Yard Operative in Climpy.

Location:

Climpy (ML11)

Start Date:

ASAP Contract Type:
Temporary to Permanent

Salary: 13.80 per hour
Overtime will be available, paid at time and a half/ double time

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Winter hours: 6am-3.45pm
Summer hours: 7am-4.45pm

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading of mats and other materials
General yard duties including housekeeping and organisation
Assisting with the movement and storage of stock within the yard
Operating basic yard equipment in a safe manner
Following site health & safety procedures at all times
Supporting wider yard operations as required

Essential Skills:

Previous yard operative experience preferable but not essential
Physically fit with the ability to carry out manual tasks, including lifting and carrying.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Good teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
