Café Assistant; Volunteer

The Haven Centre is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our café, which sits at the heart of the centre and provides a welcoming space for families, visitors and the wider community. By giving your time as a volunteer, you will be helping to create a warm, inclusive environment for children, young people and adults with additional support needs, as well as their families.

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the café
• Helping with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Keeping the café clean, tidy and welcoming
• Chatting with visitors and helping people feel comfortable in the space
• Assisting staff during busy periods and events

• Friendly and approachable personality
• Reliable and willing to help as part of a team
• An interest in supporting the local community
• No previous experience needed, just a positive attitude

The Haven Centre is part of the Elsie Normington Foundation, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people with additional support needs and their families. By volunteering with us, you will be helping to support a unique facility that provides spaces for rest, socialising, learning and belonging to the community of families with additional support needs across hIghland and beyond.
