Staff Nurse - Suitable Qualified Nurses

Staff Nurse – Acute Medicine Unit, Raigmore Hospital. This role provides nursing care in a fast‑paced acute setting, including the Acute Assessment Unit, Ambulatory Emergency Care and the Medical High Dependency Unit. You will deliver clinical care to patients referred directly from the community or Emergency Department and work effectively as part of a large, diverse team.

• Deliver direct nursing care to acutely unwell patients and support the multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Participate in assessments, investigations and treatment plans for Acute Assessment and Medical High Dependency patients.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medication and assist with specialist equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to NHS Scotland clinical and safety standards.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate UK licensing (NQN accepted).
• Strong written and verbal English language skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change in a busy acute environment.
