Job Summary
Part‑time (21.9 hrs week) Band 7 Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner in Ophthalmology Outpatients Department, National Treatment Centre – Highland, Inverness. Enrol part of team delivering quality patient care, ensuring best experience when accessing eye services.
Responsibilities- Deliver nurse‑led ophthalmic service in NTC‑H and peripheral clinics, including intra‑vitreal injections, minor operations, botulinum toxin and cataract one‑stop clinics, fluorescein angiography, ARMD and dry eye clinics.
- Provide telephone triage, watery/itchy/dry‑eye clinics and ophthalmic casualty services.
- Support Senior Charge Nurse in leading, managing and developing nursing teams within Ophthalmology Outpatients.
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with current UK NMC registration.
- Experience working in an ophthalmology setting.
Monday to Friday 08:00‑18:00 & casual clinics at weekends/public holidays.
