Visitors Catering Assistant

You will be based mainly in our Food Hall but may be expected on occasions to provide cover in one of our Highlands Table coffee bars. You will deal with a high volume of customers whilst still maintaining the high quality and service standards required.

• Deliver a prompt, efficient service to customers.
• Prepare and serve quality beverages and products, maintaining a friendly and clean atmosphere.
• Work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
• Follow instructions, possess good communication skills, and maintain high standards of service.

• Proven track record working in a similar establishment.
• Previous Barista experience is a distinct advantage, but not essential.
• Desirable to hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate; full training will be provided and you will be expected to obtain the certificate within 3 months of taking up the post.
• Expected to achieve mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
