Showroom & Counter | Inverness | Full-time
We’re expanding our retail team at Mac Gregor Industrial Supplies and are looking for driven, customer-focused people to join us in a hands‑on, multiskilled showroom role.

The role
This is a varied, active role combining customer service at the counter with maintaining a well‑presented, fully stocked showroom. You’ll be trusted to take ownership, support your teammates and deliver a consistently high standard.
You’ll be involved in:
- Serving customers at the counter, processing sales and handling enquiries
- Delivering a welcoming, professional and helpful customer experience
- Replenishing, rotating and merchandising showroom stock
- Keeping displays clean, safe, clearly priced and seasonal
- Supporting customers to locate products in the showroom and warehouse
- Creating pick‑lists and maintaining excellent shop‑keeping standards
- Actioning price changes and checking stock locations
- Arranging pre‑delivery inspections (PDI) where required
- Supporting other counters and stepping in wherever needed
- Helping maintain showroom security and standards
What we’re looking for

- Retail, trade counter or customer‑facing experience
- Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- A strong eye for detail and presentation
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- A flexible, can‑do approach and willingness to learn
- Comfort using systems and understanding the importance of accuracy
