Parts Advisor

Inverness | Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week

Do you enjoy solving problems, helping customers, and finding the right part first time?

We're looking for a customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our growing Forest & Groundcare team in Inverness.

This is a key role within the business, supporting customers, engineers, and colleagues by identifying, sourcing, and supplying parts for a wide range of machinery and equipment. You'll be at the heart of keeping our customers operational, ensuring they receive the right parts, at the right time, with the right advice.

Working with industry-leading brands including Honda, Husqvarna, John Deere, Kymco, Gardena, Oregon, Spear & Jackson, Aspen Fuel and many more, you'll become a trusted source of expertise for customers across the Highlands and Islands.

Whether you're supporting a workshop technician, helping a forestry contractor source an urgent part, or assisting a customer at the trade counter, your knowledge and customer service will make a real difference.

No two days are the same. You'll be:

Assisting customers by phone, email and at the trade counter

Identifying and supplying parts using manufacturer catalogues and electronic systems

Supporting customers with parts and accessory enquiries across our Forest & Groundcare brands

Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently

Supporting our workshop and service teams with parts requirements

Managing stock enquiries and availability checks

Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and obtain lead times

Receiving, checking and organising incoming parts deliveries

Helping maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records

Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues

Delivering outstanding customer service every day

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and has a keen eye for detail.

You'll be:

• Friendly, approachable and professional
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working with computer systems and manufacturer parts catalogues
• A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment
• Proactive and solutions-focused
• A team player who enjoys supporting others
• Experience with in parts, machinery, automotive, agricultural, forestry, ground care, engineering, construction equipment, or trade supplies would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right person.
