Seasonal TEMP Picker

Job Overview

This is a part-time role for 20 hours per week and is a seasonal temporary role.

You will be expected to ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in a number of areas of the store, so no two days will be the same. Whether it’s filling shelves, serving on the tills, ensuring we have the right amount of stock or picking deliveries, the opportunities are endless, but everything you do matters – ensuring our customers get everything they came for, served quickly and efficiently.

We are looking for someone with a real can‑do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.

• Ensure customers’ needs are exceeded while working in various store areas.
• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal and advise the Manager of any differences.
• Check quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is robust in preparation for delivery.
• Provide a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
• Be polite when dealing with delivery staff and respond appropriately to queries and complaints, referring any complex situations to a supervisor.
• Work at a consistent pace to meet designated pick rates.
• Always be on time and properly presented.

• Availability for 20 hours per week on a seasonal temporary basis.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Commitment to early or late shifts: before 6:15 a.m. or after 9:45 p.m. if required.
• A can‑do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
• Punctuality and professional presentation.
