Shift Pattern:
Thursday & Friday | 07:00 – 19:30. Additional shifts may be available during the week and occasional Saturdays.

We’re looking for a professional and reliable Security Officer to support the DWP site on Young Street, Inverness. This stable part‑time role offers the chance to create a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and the public.

As a Security Officer, you will provide a visible and professional presence on site, ensuring the safety of people, property and assets while delivering high standards of service at all times. You will carry out patrols, respond to incidents, monitor site activity and support daily security operations in line with site procedures and compliance standards.

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
• Conducting patrols and routine security checks
• Responding professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious activity or potential risks
• Completing accurate incident reports and records
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
• Following all Health & Safety and site compliance procedures

• Previous security experience
• Valid SIA Licence
• SC Clearance desirable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable and approachable attitude
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Flexible approach to additional shifts when required
